Complete List of Series

So, I’ve written a lot of series over the years, which means that I don’t always list all of them everywhere, just to stop things from getting too long.

But this page is a complete list of all of my series.

Freya Snow

Freya has been alone as long as she can remember.

Always moving from foster home to foster home, never finding a permanent family.

With her mother dead and no leads on her father, the first clue to her heritage comes in the most unlikely form.

An outburst of impossible magic, and the appearance of a ghostly guardian Freya’s mother tasked with watching over her.

With her newfound abilities, finding her father should finally be within Freya’s reach, but her new guardian cautions restraint.

Freya still doesn’t understand the magical world, she claims, or its dangers.

If Freya wants the truth, it may mean going it alone once more.

And putting her guardian’s warnings to the test.

HUNT is the first book in the Freya Snow urban fantasy series, which starts out as YA and follows Freya’s magical adventures through to university and into adulthood. If you like kick-ass, sarcastic heroines, immersive magical worlds beneath our own, and love that crosses the lines of magical feuds, then you’ll be instantly hooked on L.C. Mawson’s fast-paced urban fantasy series.

The Royal Cleaner

Caroline doesn’t remember her crime.

One moment, she’s a Lady of the Demon Court.

The next, she’s sent to Earth as punishment.

Her task? Keep the humans from learning about magic at all costs. Even if it means doing the one thing she’s worst at – dealing with other people.

Detective Mina Sharma is determined to prove herself.

Her new promotion is the one thing going right in her life as a newly-divorced single mother, and she’s not going to let anything stop her from solving her first case.

Not even the aloof and enigmatic blonde with crimson eyes telling her to drop it if she values her life.

Especially not when this Caroline is just as much of a puzzle to solve as the case itself.

And Mina has always loved puzzles.

Claire was used to having no-one.

But when monsters from beyond the wastelands attack her on a school trip, she’s saved by one of the Aspects – an elite team of heroes tasked with keeping the city safe with their emotion-based powers.

Claire’s connection to the Aspect of Hate is beyond anything she’s ever felt before, but Hate isn’t supposed to get close to anyone, lest her powers falter.

That might not have been enough to keep the two girls apart, but when the Aspect of Love dies and Claire is chosen as her successor, the situation only gets deadlier.

If opposite Aspects get too close, their powers cancel each other out.

And the Aspects wind up as monster chow.

But without a source of love to draw on, Claire’s powers won’t work at all.

And she’s as good as dead.

They’ll have to decide if they risk their fates together, or if Claire’s in this alone.

What the hell would an ancient witch want with a witchling who hasn’t even unlocked her powers yet?

If I had known my mother’s life was on the line, I wouldn’t have hesitated moving schools.

Hell, if I had known Ember Academy was a school for witchcraft, I would have been eager to go.

But no, I didn’t even know I had magic until my mum was cursed. And I certainly didn’t know that an ancient witch, recently awoken from centuries of slumber, had her sights set on me for reasons no one seems to understand.

So now my mum’s under a curse that no one knows how to lift, and I’m heading to Ember Academy for Young Witches, despite the fact that something is blocking both my magic and a portion of my memories, leaving me lightyears behind my peers and useless to my mother.

No one wants to risk removing the block, worried about what it might do to me.

But I’m not so sure that this school is safe, and I need to protect myself. I need to figure out this curse and stop this witch so that I can go home. And things can go back to normal.

I don’t care about the risks, I just want my family back…

If you love kick-ass, sarcastic heroines, immersive magical worlds, and slow-burn F/F romances that cross the lines of magical factions, you’ll love this fast-paced YA urban fantasy series.

Lady Ruth Constance Chapelstone never cared much for boys.

She was too fixated on corsets or engines to give them much notice. An “inventor’s disposition” is how her uncle referred to it when she would forget basic necessities, like food or sleep.

But proper ladies don’t spend their days reinventing the steam engine, so Lady Ruth’s uncle helped her to create a new persona – The Owl: Britain’s Greatest Inventor!

The Owl is sought after but so is Lady Ruth, and making sure she remains free to pursue her inventions may every ounce of her cunning.

The Lady Ruth Constance Chapelstone Chronicles are a trilogy of steampunk novellas following Lady Ruth’s adventures.

Alex was genetically engineered and trained from birth to hunt magical beings, but she left that life behind for the love of an angel.

But when fate, and Alex’s former family, separate them, Alex is left with no choice. If she ever wants to be free – to stop running – she’ll have to turn and fight those who raised her.

The question is, can she do it alone, or will she have to trust her former friends and siblings who may very well be spies for the enemy?

A noble heir, paralysed by duty. A scholar bound by marriage to a monster. A warrior with more skill as a healer. A doctor trapped between two worlds.

Lyna had always known that her sister, Dyna, had mated a merman who lacked honour. What she didn’t realise was that her sister was going to great lengths to cover up bruises from him.

In the middle of Lyna’s one chance to cement their family’s future – a ball at which she intends to set up her younger sister with the princess – she sees her sister attacked by her mate, and the two escape Atlantis for Earth – the barbaric land of the humans.

With nowhere to go and no way of getting free of Dyna’s mate, help comes in the form of two unlikely friends. A Demon Slayer with a healer’s touch and a Human who can see through magical illusions.

Four entwined destinies become entwined hearts as they struggle against the bounty hunters sent to retrieve the two mermaids.

CASTAWAY HEART is the first book in a trilogy of paranormal romance books, following the four protagonists as they become two couples.

A real job? In this economy? Maybe robbing banks isn’t such a terrible idea after all…

Kara had always been good with computers. She is autistic, after all, and sometimes stereotypes exist for a reason. But when she finds herself caught in the middle of a bank heist and able to see impossible things, she starts to figure that there might be more to it than that.

After losing her job, she’s out of options, so when a woman appears in her house claiming to be some kind of witch, telling Kara that she has the ability to magically control machines, and offering her a job with her heist crew, Kara hesitates before throwing her out.

Maybe there are worse places for a quasi-magical autistic woman to be than on the wrong side of the law…

The Almosts Trilogy is a series of paranormal heist novellas set within L.C. Mawson’s urban fantasy Snowverse. If you’re a fan of the dark character progression of Breaking Bad and the absurd humour of Saint’s Row, you’ll love this deceptively ridiculous venture into the chillingly cutthroat world of magical crime.

Content warning: This book deals with graphic violence, including sexual violence. Readers of other Snowverse series will find darker content that isn’t present in most of the Snowverse.
